Recovery: A Lifelong Process

Recovery is an ongoing, lifelong process. Once a person has stopped using a particular substance, the process of learning to live without that substance begins. Learning to manage life's daily stresses and developing strategies to deal with the challenges that arise are important skills to develop in maintaining recovery and preventing relapse. Many people also feel that finding ways to be of service can be very helpful in keeping one's recovery on track.

Many practical matters may also become important. People in recovery often face a variety of barriers that challenge their ability to move forward productively with their lives and to maintain their recovery. These include issues such as finding appropriate housing, finding a job, continuing one's education, getting medical insurance, and problems with discrimination. So wondering where to place my thoughts. Thinking you guys might read here....
I am sure reading this, and that it is from you, the "mods" that you yourselves endorse this way of thinking that recovery is life long.....

Brings me to this wondering if my glass of water was spiked cause I sure as hell hate that make crazy.
I ask earlier, I am so sure of it ( even though it isn't there anymore ), if maybe you mods could help some people out and let us know if tinman was banned.....and low and behold he is back, and my post is gone. I think a simple yes or no, or well look here it answers the question....
But he was axed, as he says....and is this truth, dare tell...cause if it is i got a whole bunch more questions I would love to ask....but then I think I do in this, in a way.....

How am I gonna tie it all together, well simply of course. If recovery is a life long process then there will be holes some fall into/dig themselves ( maybe a bit of omg they went crazy), walls others construct all in finding the way, thier way....Not a robotic, one way, this is it....It will be what is most important that each individual needs to find for themselves to become whole again....and this works on both sides usually....if we find a way to work ourselves out, we find life again....
So if it is ups and downs, twists and turns and I am one that actually does point this out to those watching.....
The banning would be what, editting would be what...poofing is what.....

So you understand why I find editting so evil. When you edit you take the choice away from others to make a reasonable and heartfelt conclusion to whom they should place thier trust in....No one is helped by being protected, and no one learns without experiencing. Living the highs and lows, the evil and good.........and this should seem like common sense when dealing with addiction, shouldn't it.

Personally my voice was taken away, in rules, in this omg I can think and wonder, and be amazed on my own...... I don't enjoy when it is done to me, here. As I don't ask questions for any other reason then to for myself know, understand something, which at the time makes no sense to me. If you think anything more you would be mistaken big time, and in need of some education on how important our voices are. Maybe another post for recovery, as so many are afraid to speak, just speak.....

Now I sit smiling, wondering how fast this will all do that poof....I also could ask what tough love did. I do applaud him cause why now with all this recovery intervention.....hmm inquiring minds would love to know. Oh the speculation I could entertain....

Enjoy the day,
Love,
Tina
