Rehab For Disabled Son

My stepson is 25 years old and is a paraplegic from an accident when he was 15. His addiction issues began with pain medications and he is now actively addicted to Heroin. He has gotten clean in the past, but not lasting more than a few months. He is currently very deep back into active addiction and is slowly killing himself by sinking deeper into his addiction and not properly caring for himself. He has multiple bedsores at this time from spending long periods of time in his wheelchair and that has been complicated by multiple infections of the bedsores. I am DESPERATELY searching for a rehab facility that will take him with his disability and wound care issues. It must be handicap accessible and have medical staff that would be willing to attend to his wound care issues as well. I really feel that time is running out for him.... If he doesn't get help soon he will surely be dead within the next few months from either an overdose or not caring for himself. PLEASE respond back with any ideas as soon as possible. We live in Delaware and he has Delaware Medicaid for insurance. There are NO facilities in Delaware that are willing to take on his special needs. This is truly an urgent matter. Thank you.
I am not sure if this helps: If making queries to Treatment Facilities proves fruitless, perhaps an orgaization that helps handicapped people can provide a suggestion. I am not familiar with any, but I assume you are aware of some organizations that provide support for handicapped people. Perhaps they have a suggestion.

Another idea is to contact AA or Narcotics Anonymous (they host hotlines). And, sometimes a County or Government entity can provide referrals as part of social services.

I wish you the best of luck.
