About three months agao I used this site to taper off about 120mg hydo/day.
I now fing myself right back there. I am just checking in to let anyone else who is "lurking" and using that you are not alone. I have found that this site is a great place to organize thoughts and plans about quitting.

We've never spoken before, so I looked back at your old posts and two things jumped out. First of all, you're going to have to cut off your sources -- your dealer can't be calling you up with great discounts. This may mean changing your phone number if he can't be discouraged any other way. Secondly, for a while, and maybe forever, you'll have to stop hanging out with your friends who are still using.
What kind of F2F support do you have? Do you see a therapist or attend meetings?
Addiction is a disease, and there's no dishonor in a relapse. I hope you catch tihs slip now and stop using before things get any worse.

To get long lasting recovery you will have to utilize something outside this site.AA or NA are two organizations that don't cost anything and offer a 12th step program.
I like your ideal of journaling but unless you actually participate with other's who are trying to do the same thing,we only isolate more and the only one's who hold us accountable are ourselves.........that's not an ideal formula for an addict.
Relapses can be valuable learning tools if change occurs.
If we continue to do the same things over and over again,nothing changes.
Use this as an opportunity.
