I sometimes I think I know more than what my Higher Power does, that I'll take the reins and run the show today; self will run riot...normally when I do this, my day doesn't go so well, when I set aside everything I know about God, the Program and what's best for others I usually have a pretty good day and more is revealed to me...

VW, thanks for sharing that. Funny how little we have control over what we will never be able to control. Thanks for sharing that!

Reminds me of this little message I've had on my refrigerator for years now:

"Good morning, this is GOD! I will be handling all your problems today. I will NOT need your help. So have a good day!"

I have that too! lol same place the fridge! lol

Self will run riot!! Screws me everytime. lol I take my will back all the time. The beauty is today I notice it faster and am able to get back on track in a hurry. Usually I'm good for screwing up a few hours of my day, but I'm ok with that for now, it's better than the whole day or longer. It's progress for me anyway.
