hi sharon i hope u are well! if uve been reading my thread u will know im not feeling to good on the tapering at the moment but perservering. what i wanted to ask u. ive been saying to my doc for a few weeks i have like a head cold i dont feel well, he just says yes yes yes....(u know kinda ignoring me). he finally got off his butt last week and looked down my throat cuz i was really whinging lol and said "good god ur tonsils are huge". but they werent sore? and they always seem to be big? at my age ive heard its dangerous to get them out, my friend did and heamoragged? (spelling lol??) and then he said when ur around 60 ur tonsils shrivel up anyway and disapear?!?!? is this correct or is his brain shrivelling up LOL?!

Sorry it took me so long to answer your post. I haven't been up to par the last few days. Congradulations on your tapering sucess. I am so proud of you.
Anyway about the tonsils. Some people just have large tonsils. If yours are not hurting you and they are.not infamed.....I wouldn't worry about them. And yes sometimes they do just shrivel up to almost nothing. A nurse that I worked with before.....well hers did just that.

oh thanx sharon, so sometimes they do just shrivel up lol, and if they are big but not hurting i wont worry about them but i do get sore throats often and i just take antibiotics!
