I was clean 6 whole months on July 8th, a very long 6 months, but I made it and plan on staying clean forever!!!! I got into some trouble back in January,05 and thank God I got put in a Treatment Facility and it really saved my life, I am still in recovery and I go to 4 MA groups a week! I don't know what I would have done if it weren't for the people I met in that group, they really helped me more than they will ever know! Now I would really like to go back to school and become a substance abuse counselor so I can help people who are suffering from addiction.
I was at a friend's house last night and a girl she knew came over and was crying and really really sick and my heart just really went out to her so I took it upon myself to call the clinic were I go and I got her an appt for this Thursday and I stayed with her to help her through the night and plan on getting her through tonight also until I can get her to the clinic tomorrow! My heart just really goes out to people who are suffering like I and alot of you people have and still are because I have been there and how I wished at night when I couldn't sleep or eat that I just had someone to talk to!!
