Hey, you two!
I returned last night and came in to work this AM. I'll be going to a meeting this noon 'cause I need it. BAD. The trip was okay--long drive up to Vermont--but the flood of issues I'd so long pushed into the bottom of the bottle was almost over whelming. I came to realize that my childhood up bringing wasn't so peculiar and that I was, actually, quite fortunate to have the experiences I have. I could blame a ka-jillion things on a billion people, but the real bottom line rests in me finding solace and comfort in any Mood Altering Drug with a Problem of Instant Gratification or, in my goofy mind, the MAD PIG that is me.

The good news is that I'm okay and celebrating 90 days of sobriety, chem free, drug free, and (somewhat) angst free. I gotta tell y'all, though: I've missed this board and the personalities that show up.
