Someone Just Came Off Sub. Maybe You Can Help

Hello,im on day4 of sub.Its is been the best days of my life in along time.I am starting to worry about when i come off sub.I want to know if its easy to tamper off?Are the w/ds bad ?Would they be as bad as peracets w/ds?And if someone can answer this how long before the codeine is out of my system?Is it being released now?Thank you all that can help me or give me some insight.Crystal

The taper on Sub was the easiest thing I've ever done. I, personally, had a very hard time when I came off of sub...but, I had been on OxyContin 300+mgs a day and I did my taper in 3 weeks...some say I did it too fast, others say the faster the better...who knows...bottom line is nothing is painless, I fear. Enjoy this time on Sub and let what comes come.

I dont know if you have read some of my posts or are just looking for more opinions ( which is a good idea ). The origional narcotic ((except for Meth) is out of your body around day 5 . But Sub is a strong narcotic as well.

** Hopefully you started on a low dose like KAL did. 6 mill. If you want to limit your addiction to Sub , then start weaning now. When you make your cut dose , wait around 4 days before you cut again.

Hey I just started sub 3 weeks ago. I was on methadone for 7 yrs. I was taking it for pain. But guess what, I got addicted!! I was told when I first started the sub that I had to let myself go without anything for at least 3
days but I was on methadone and it stays in your body longer. Everyone I have talked to has told me subs are easy to get off of. My Dr said that I could take 6 months or longer if I needed. I feel great to, I feel like I am really starting to get my life back

hello,wrenn i feel the same way.And thats what my doctor pretty much told me.I was just worried about not being able to get off of the sub.Im on 6 to 8 mgs a day.I try to go with 6 mgs but sometimes have to take to other 2mgs later that night.But,when i get up i feel fine.Im not sick feeling and wake up feeling great.I havent been able to wake up without feeling like crap in a long time.So i have told myself when i wake up im not running for the sub. bottle right then if i dont feel i need it.I really want to turn my life back around these feel like the best days of my life.I hope sup. it not a problem to get off. thanks crystal

Sub is not easy to get off for the majority of people who have been on high doses for a while . It is truely a blessing when you first get on it. But trying to get off it, can be a battle.

Educate your self about it. Here is a site with a thread about people who were using Meth and now are on Sub.
