let me just say that the food network is coming to my diner on monday.......taping for a show called, diners, drive-ins and dives or something like that........and i am sure when they get there they will be trying to whisk me off to hollywood..........but of course wont be able to leave my beyooooo-tiful little adam, maybe I can bring my family with me..........so I just want to say......i wont forget anyone and wil remember where I came from.......:-)))

Amity. no she means "her" diner as in where she works. It's a really big one. All the customers though come in and want to sit at her station. She's a hustler, and works so hard, and is absolutely or even more nice, and sweet in person so her tips reflect such. Ain't her fault some of them women got a puss on them waiting on people. Yo, that's how she is ya know? That's why she tips out good as well.
Let me honestly tell ya here's the kinds of things she does. Someone new at work like a little busgirl or something don't she help them? Don't she tip out to them? Don't she give them A RIDE HOME! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One kid's dad told her to go home at NIGHT on the bus. Wayyyyyyyyyyyy outta our way or hood and she drove that kid alllllllllllllllllll the way home.

Oooooh, I am so jealous...I am a total foodie. The food where you work must be really good to get the food network to come out there. What's the best thing on the menu? What's the most popular? Thanks Sherri, the boy is my youngest son, he is 12. The oldest boy is 27, he is the father of my granddaughter. My middle son is 20. I like to space them out...lol
That baby is too darn cute.........ok we wil just say she is the pretties girl and I have the pretiest boy !!!........ah, but thats not fair cos we emz's babies and herogirls........and susans grandkids........man we do produce some awesome loking people huh?
ok..now work was kind of exciting.......film crew got there at 5am and when i left at 11pm they were stil there..that guy Guy <hehe> he was only there a bit at a time.......doing interviews wiht the owner,my boss.........and at dusk where they had him in the convertible like he was driving up to the diner........seemed like a nice enough guy, his son was there with him and i got to serve them........to me the best parts were diner was crowded for a monday and i made boco bucks AND they had to make lots of food to take pictures of and we got to eat it all....lol.........to whomever asked........we r "famous" for our chicken croquettes..which is shredded chicken with celery etc breaded........look like lactating breasts to me as they r two cones on mashed potatos wiht gravy on them.........good with cranberry sauce..........also big sellers of pot roast, andchickenmonterey..........and crepes florentine...a few things they profiled......and our desserts, we have our own bakery and do all baking on the premises.........won best of philly jewish apple cake and apple walnut pie......ppl love our french onion soup....standard diner food ya know........was funny though as that guy Guy< this is getng monotonous :-)> well he tried scrapple........a philly favorite ,although NOT one of mine.and it was clear he also didnt care for it even after we put ketchup it on it.........scrapple UGH......pigs guts, but we also make a mean cheesesteak and they liked them.....that all i ever eat anymore, diner food and I'm sick of it all actually.............Actually have never watched this show <I'm addicted to HGTV> but noticed its on tonight at 1am and going to try and catch it......i think our diner was taped for a special on 24hr diners.......not sure of air date yet......all in all, it was fun, made the night go faster........and i got an aoutographed pic of this guy dude
