Stacey

I got the grandbaby tonight and she has never seen your pickle only your duck. Well, tonight she saw the pickle so while she is doing the duck thing she starts dancing along with the pickle. I think she has created a new dance thanks to you. It was so funny and everytime I try to do something else on the internet she makes me go back the duck and the pickle. This is how grandmas spend their Thursday nights. Shantel
AWWW Im glad I can spread my joy to your little one Shantel.

You should tape a little clip and upload it. lol, or a picture.
Ya'll have fun! Dancing always gets me in a good mood. lol

Stac, If I knew how to do it I would. You would laugh your a** off. She is about the same age as your daughter. Shantel

Kaylin has such a FUN sense of humor. She's so smart. I wish she would stay this age. . Not looking forward to the teens. Everyone says i have a ways to go, but I know how fast time flies and it'll be here in a blink.

Stacey, They do grow up so fast. My son is 12 and he is my youngest I still consider him my liitle man, my ace. He always lets me know I am #1 in his eyes. Then there are my 3 girls 15, 22, and 24. They are my best friends. My grandaughters name is Ny'Ajah she is almost 3 and my other grandaughters name is Promise she is 7 mts. My grandson is Savyion Gage and he is 4 months and my daughter is flying in tommorrow night for the weekend from GA. I wish I knew how to post pics like you do. They do grow up fast remember to take time to smell the roses something I always didn't do. Shantel
I'm grateful that I didn't continue down the path I was on and I have changed so much. I think it's the 23rd of this month will be my 6 MONTH clean date.
I can't believe it. Seems like ages ago really,. I'm glad she'll grow up with a clean mommy and hopefully the f**Ked up things I've done hasn't affected her. She is a happy happy little girl, I'm so happy that I'll be able to enjoy her and have a clear head.

Where in GA does your daughter live? I recently moved more North, now I'm in Macon.
Stac, Be thankful that you found recovery while she is so young and won't remember the bad times. Mine were older and knew the whole deal before I did. Shantel
Stacey -your daughter is def at a great age but the best is yet to come - from 3 - 5 is the absolute best. They really begin to understand rules and they interact like little adults. Kindergarten is probably the cutest time there is. Your sobriety will mean more and more to you as you go through these wonderful times and make wonderful memories. A few things I learned that will serve any mom well is remember to always be "Mom" - the one person that they know loves them unconditionally and not only WANTS whats best for them, but teaches them how to achieve it. I still kiss my kids goodnight. Nothing works better in raising children than gentle words and gentle kisses. When all the screaming and demanding got me nowhere, I grew to realize that when I LOWERED my voice and spoke sincerely (a tear doesnt hurt lol) they heard me better than ever. Youre still such a young girl Stacey but you are off to a great start in realizing YOU are her role model for life.
Donna

It always cheers me up when you post to me. ;-)

I kiss her constantly, always play with her hair, and my name for her is angel. She hugged me the other day and said hey angel... i thought i was gonna cry. lol.

I hold her as often as i can. She gives the best 'lovins' in the world.

Have a good night Donna, and thank you.

No more baby talk you guys are making me want to have another LOL

My son is a lover as well Stace, and there is nothing in the world like it. We snuggle up every morning for cuddle time.

Love it.

Stacey,
At this point the board doesnt have the meaning it did when I first came here - it certainly helped me when I needed it but now I read here mosty to see if there is anyone coming here new in the same boat as I was (I dont see too many actually) and to see what is going on with others here. You are one of those that have really touched me here and I hope you will just get stronger and stronger in your resolve to keep clean (and therefore healthy and happy). Life can throw alot of things at us and I hope you have learned that drugs are NOT your friend. Use your brains and your own senses to handle problems. Self reliance is a wonderful gift to yourself.
Janet is another one here that for some reason I feel her history as she is so similar to a sister in law. I know how hard her life has been but more than that I know how hard she fought to get where she is. I hope she will always keep this strength and that her life gets better and better.
It seems to me that those here who fought the fight and beat their addiction have lives that are so much happier. When we seek good things, good things come. What we put out we get back.
Aww, Stacygirl, seeing a picture of Kaylin always makes me smile.
