S,
You may feel stuck but the more you move forward the better off you will be so stop thinking about day one and think about day now and celibrate the fact that you made it one more day without using.....that in it self is cause for celibration. You can make it this time just like you could have made it all the times before as long as you continue in your commitment not to use. All the best to you in this continued struggle called addiction!

..You got so used to living your days using heroin that you forgot wot lifes like to live without it ?..can you remember wot life was like before you started using..days that were good days that were bad and days that was just totally mundane..then along came mr brown and changed how you lived life..now your back to where you was before brown came along and feel stuck in which way to go..life does change for us when we stop using but we still have to deal with wot life throws at us just as it did before we started using..the only thing thats changed is that your back in control of your life..but we all live different lives and all have good/bad/mediocre days..but we're all equal in being off heroin and that beats anything i could wish for..your doing so well seren and don't give up the fight to own your life..take care..Robbie..

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seren, that's fabulous, Sister. Ya got 43 days in. That's huge.
Echoing what everybody else said. HABIT. Ya lived that way for so long. It's what we do. When stress comes up or we have a sad day. Plus, babes your chemicals ain't all back right yet. It takes time.
KEEP GOING. Count them days. Keep ticking, Seren. Certain milestones too that are harder than others. Just my thoughts anyway. You're getting past them.
I'm a broken record, but can ya get some Omega 3? That fish oil stuff. Get some B-Complex too. Honestly it helps. You've been really brave Seren. Good on you! I'm so proud.
