Can anyone tell me how I can get on suboxone . From what I understand my normal doctor can't right? So what do I do? neeeeed help.

I know we talked alittle last night. You wife was holding your pills so you can taper.....I don't remember if you said that you have tried to stop before. If you didn't I would go with the taper first.......I say this because, you have support at home. Have faith in yourself........There are always other options if you can't handle it....and since you started already why not keep going! Find yourself some outside support too......AA/NA it can't hurt.

MISTY EYEYS, Your right I have a little support at home and I don't have any darvocets which is what I usually take for pain so I got vicodin 500 and I'm only taking 4 a day . I have enough for 7days that way but how long does tapering take?

I am not sure what time zone you are in, did want to leave you hanging......There are many ways you can taper. You can do it fast, drop one pill a day everyday and then flush the rest. Or you can slow it down.....Now it looks like you only have 28 pills left. You could take 3 a day for 4 days, then 2 a day for 4 days then 1 a day for 4 days......and then flush the rest....(Not sure about the pills you are taking if they are not time released then you could take a half for the next 4 days and flush the last 2). You will have withdrawl either way but it shouldn't be as bad as ct......
This is the trick to taper......space out your pills. If you are up 18 hours a day, divide that time by how many pills you are taking a day.
I really would try to do the taper first...you are looking at 12 days days unless the pills can be cut(cause if they can I would do it) or 16 days......So in around 2 weeks you will be all done.....Then you need to figure out a plan to stay clean getting there is easy, I sure you have read how hard it is to stay there.
Which ever way you chose....just be resolved to do it, and be kind to your wife through the process, because she will be going through it too.
