I spent most of yesterday on the phone finding out information for my son. It appears that if the judge would let him out (which of course my son hopes for) on R and R after the preliminary hearing tomorrow, that the other county, whose pretrial services he has violated because of engaging in criminal activity while on it, could yank him back over to that prison. WE DON'T WANT THAT!!!
My husband and I both feel he should stay in there atleast until we can find a rehab bed for him and then we'll ask the police to approach the DA about it. What I don't know is if the other county could still pull him from rehab or if he'd have to face time in there after rehab....because I wouldn't want him to go back into that atmosphere afterwards. That county prison is rated VERY low and they never even gave my son his antidepressant the whole 16 days he was there.
Thanks for missing me. I miss you all when I don't get a chance to get on too. Please keep my son, us, and the lawyer in your prayers asked for whatever is best to keep him out of Dauphin County or the State prisons. The hearing is at 10:30 AM later this morning. Thanks so much!
