I don't think I sweat like this in the summer while I'm jogging. This is still day one and the light at the end of the tunnel.......Ah hell, I don't see a light !!! I picked up a book while I was out this afternoon called "Over the Influences", but I don't think I can even concentrate enough to comprehend anything the book talks about or gives advice about.
My eyes are soooo watery. Is this something that happens when you go through w/d???
Oh Irish...I so feel your pain. The watery eyes, the sweats, shakes, anxiety, belly ache,cramps...it is part of the withdrawels. But they will ease up in a few days. Drink as much water as you can, take a hot bath, walk, I took ibuprofen for the leg aches.
Hang in ther my friend..it is soooo worth it!
Hugs,
Pam

Yea they suck. Im on day 12 man. I heard it gets better
Hi Irish, Yes it sucks hard. I was always so short of breath too. Try to remember you don't have to go throught this again. No more dopesick after this. Take a hot bath. It helps alot. Listen to music. I played it loud. When you feel up to it, take a walk or get out abit. It'll take your mind off it if you get some interaction with others. Keep posting. You'll find friends here who've been thorugh the same thing and are here to tell about it and encourage you. Beck
I can relate I hurt so much during w/d it hurt to much to wear a shirt. I lived in a bath for about a week, I was alwasy out of breath and couldn't even make it up the stairs without stopping halfway to take a rest.
It does get better, so much better!
Hang in there buddy, don't bow out before the miracles start.

Withdrawals are tough, I feel for you. I don't think anyone could ever "make"me go back and have to do it again. I want to remember that pain and anguish every day. I also want to remember the wonderful days that finally came when I was finally clean and over the worst of it. It still wasn't a picnic, but I had the support and hope from others that were in the same boat to guide me.
Remember to breathe. Lots of hot baths or showers really do help. That and trying to get as much rest as you can. Be careful of taking other drugs to help ease the w/d's. Stick with OTC meds and let your body heal naturally.
You can do this.
