Hello all! My story is long but this post won't be. I'm a living contradiction at the moment as I am a yoga instructor. No one knows I've been taking suboxone for the last 3 years of my life. Let alone I have no health insurance to pay the doctor I see. Or cover the cost of the meds. I'm a single mom at my limits. I'm looking for a taper schedule. I'm currently down to one and a half strips a day from 2 a day. It took me a week of suffering to get that other half off my mind. Now I'm looking at the road ahead thinking one day I might actually be free of this! I'm also looking for help and suggestions for benzo withdrawal relief. I'm currently on 5mg a day (more than the Doc prescribed! I get them from a friend) I've quit cold turkey before. And it wasn't too terrible as I used meditation and affirmations to get me through the worst part (the first week)
But if anyone has had any luck withdrawing from both using the same supplements outlined in Matt's holistic approach I would really appreciate any and all feedback on the issue. I have to get clean for my girls. It's not an option to keep spending this much money self medicating.
Again! Any and all support is appreciated
Hi . I can say about suboxone. Take it slow. But what would you think about an idea I have. To feel it out a bit. Subs are so powerful. If subs stay in your system for 3 days then you have whatever your daily dose is x 3 in your body. Try lowering your dose 2mg at a time and as fast as your comfortable with.
I think you detox 1 drug at a time. I hear depending on how much and how long benzos were used, can determine the detox process with benzos. If you stopped taking benzos while taking suboxone will you feel sick at all?
I hope this helped.
