i will try to be clean is my safest bet if i take in 7 to 10 7.5 a day to tapper to a couple a day then one a day

I am tapering, too, and got alot of good advice on this board. First, make sure that tapering is your best option. A doctor can tell you if it's safe to go cold turkey.
The reason I say this is that everyone tells me that tapering is tricky and success isn't extremely high. If you are going to taper, give your pills to someone you can trust, and have them give you a day's worth at a time.
Otherwise you'll cheat and take more per day than you've allowed yourself!
