While i,m on here tnite..
A while back jack had posted that he had hardening of the arteries or sumthin and a day or two later i had said that i had taken a funny turn while at work,,at the time i was embarrased to say it bcoz i felt like i was jumpin on the bandwagon lookin for sympathy etc which i most certainly wasnt..
At the time i thought i was havin a heart attack,n,really got a fright but bcoz the pain lessend after about 15 or 20 mins later i never went to hospital,,it was my neice who convinced me to go 2days later..After gettin my heart checked the doc said it seemed ok but bcoz i had left it 2days she couldnt say what had caused it but she thought it might be gastric..I must say bcoz of where and how the pain was i much doubted this..A few weeks ago i was at my own Dr,s and told him about this,n,that so he took 3 lots of blood which caused my arm to be sore for about 3weeks,he told me to phone in a week for the results..About 3days later i got a call from the docs receptionist saying my reults were back and i,d tested positive for something that i cant remember the name of and to come and get a script for it.It turned out that whatever it was if not treated was turning or had turned into an ulcer..They gave me 4sets of tablets,2 were huge anti-biotics which allways leave me feelin crap,stomach tablets and sumthin else..So it turns out that my scare was the start of an stress related ulcer,,lucky or what??/Eck
Well, that's good news, Eckie. Ulcers are actually caused by viruses and/or bacteria, so the antibiotocs will get rid of that so your stomache lining can heal. I'm so glad it was nothing more serious than that...you'll be feeling better in no time, buddy. How's things with the little man who was acting up?

was it H pylori? that is the bacteria in the stomache that causes ulcers.. i was treated twice had to take antibiotics and pepto and something else for 10 days it was yukky but it helped hope you feel better
Sorry to hear that eck- - but when I saw that "tested positive" message,I got a bit nervous
I kinda glad that its a treatable problem- - I ended up with a herniated disk in my back- it was causing my leg to go numb- - I thought I had some kind of artery clog going on- - but thank fully it was only a bad back
So- Im back at work- - Finally in the workforce again- -geez that was a long time, but I got a good salary and after awhile they want to try me out in sales ( Im in purchasing)
Never sold anything legal in my life, but I know electronics and cable so they want to use my experience I guess- - commissions will be nice- - Although I never really was driven by the dollar ya know??
Anyway, things are finally looking up a bit
But Ive learned never to get too "up" - if something goes bad , it makes the fall worse- - even keel -thats the ticket***

Good fr you jack,,i,m really chuffed fr you m8..I kinda knew the tested positive thing would have people thinkin all the usual bad things..Thankfully drugwise ave never been into or interested in the needle,,got blood taken 3 or 4 weeks ago and my arm was sore for ages,,nah,,dont fancy havin t go through that m8...Eck

Firstly,momg!!thats what it was,is...Mom,,my son has never done that since that night,,matter of fact he,s just left me with my eldest daughter who is from another mother and lives in newcastle england,,she is up visiting us for the weekend though unfortunately for me has to stay with my x-partner and her brother and sister(my kids)as i,m living with a friend at the moment having fell out with my brother though thats another story..
I,M not sure if its totally ok now as i still have a pain from time to time,all stress related i think..I wasnt eating right before though since moving in with my m8 i have been back eating regularly..
To be honest my Dr has me on prozac and i stopped taking them abruptly and found myself falling over,my balance was not right,,i wont be taking them again no matter what the doc says as i believe they have caused me allsorts of problems..
I have to go as my dinner is waiting,lol,,but Jack your right about the women,,people in glass houses m8..lol....Eck

Quite a few answers IMO. 1.) So we can talk girl talk about the men we are with. 2.) Safety in numbers. Ya know in case a serial killer is in there. 3.) To check out eachother's hair, make-up. Always need an opinion in a bathroom 4.) A lady should not travel alone 5.) We dig eachother and want to share a quick kiss in private.

Thanks for that Bryn,,i thought i was going nuts,,,well,i was a wee bitty...The prozac was the only thing i could think of that was doing this too me,n,now that i,m over the stopping them stage everything seems better,,,not good but better..Still got some life issues to deal with that are weighing me down,n,u know the worst thing was that no one believes me....Everyone noticed i was deteriorating before me,n,wi the falling over etc they believed that i was so wasted that i was falling over..To be honest its pretty heartbreaking as some things have been said,n,done that i dont think i can repair,thats why i may be movin on down to England for a good few months at least...I allready feel further than that away from some people as it is..I,ll try,n,take it as it comes though..Got my kids to think about thats why i dont intend to make my move permanent..Thanks Again Queen B...

Yeah, yeah the balance. Happens to alot of people. I am no fan of those anti depressants. That's just me though. Somepeople I think it helps, but we're recovering dope fiends and we know drugs. I knew real quick it was that Paxil. Still ya figure it's a drug and it's prescribed and with a secret wish maybe it'll possibly have me feel good so sure I took it. Nothing but trouble.
Ya know Eck, I think we're kind of alike in ways. Did it make you overly over the top raging? It did me. Mean. I'd pick a fight in the line at the store with a full gorwn a*s man if he bumped into me. Same thing with benzo's. Everybody about their Xanax and Klonopin. You kiddin me? Gives me a migraine and then I'm breaking stuff all ready to fight the world.
Eck you've had alot going on. So much. Stress. You've handled it well I think. Real well. I'm sorry you're going through it. I know though ALWAYS you're about your kids. ALWAYS. That's a good man right there.
