Pardon me for just venting for a moment. My husband informed me that his brother called and asked him if we would have one of our sons pee in a cup for him in the morning so he can pass a drug screen for a new job. Are you kidding me? And if I were crazy enough to allow that, how would I explain that to a 10 and 13 year old?!!!! He has a 14 year old son...I asked why he didn't have HIS son do it if he is so desperate? His excuse? His son is currently on medication...OTC cold medicine!! Last I checked, OTC cold medicine is not illegal and a prospective employer will not hold that against you. He just doesn't want to have to explain to his own son that Daddy likes to smoke pot. I just can't believe that he would ask me to even go there with my sons yet he wouldn't do it with his own. And this is what you call FAMILY!!

I know how friends and family are sometimes in wanting crazy favors but asking children to pee in a cup for you is just TOO much.. So yeah I agree it sounds nuts to me.. So how are you doing? Hi Rae. No, he doesn't know any clean adults. Every one of my in-laws have issues with addiction. My husband is probably the least dysfunctional of the bunch and that's not saying much!!
This weekend? Working and getting my son ready for Halloween. He has yet to decide what to be and I'm sure the costumes are all picked through so I will be stuck throwing together some homemade getup! Oughta be fun! How have you been?

Nope not a lot of plans for the weekend. I got my 14 yr old daughter from school and dropped her and 2 girlfriends off at the mall. She has decided to go out for Halloween after all. The other day she said she wasn't going. Before getting out of the car she asked for 50 bucks which I gave her but now that I am thinking about it that was dumb... I could have saved some money got her a Cowgirl hat with the freckles she already has and made her a cowgirl.. She had long beautiful hair she could have pulled in pig tails too.. Oh well too late now and she probably wouldn't have gone for it anyway,LOL
So now I am just hanging out with my son and my baby girl and waiting for the call to go pick them up... Oh yeah and I have been meaning to get back with you on the comment you said to me a while back.. You said so how does it feel Rae not to have your ex-husband around checking your every move? Remember? Well to answer you it feels GREAT.. I love being able to do my own thing now and not have to answer to him... I can call who I want, people can call me. I don't have anyone checking my messages or trying to learn the computer.. That was always my ex's thing. He would sit down and say I am going to learn what you do on here.. I would say good for you what do you think I am cheating? LOL Which I wasn't and didn't for the almost 10 yrs we were together. Yes it feels great to have freedom... He calls now cause we have a son together that is almost 7 and I can just hit NO on my phone to reject his call if I don't want to talk. LMAO I am so mean but at least I'm honest..
See I went to a younger man this time and he is no where near acting like my father then my ex was. Him and I have trust.. I found once trust is gone in a relationship you can get it back but it's hard.. Funny thing is I didn't do anything not to be trusted some guys are just that way. If ya know what I mean...
