Ever wonder why one person succeeds in keeping their recovery where as another soul keeps falling short. It's been 11 years now of being clean from drugs. And being an addict for 20 yrs, what was the deciding factor that finallykworked? It's the realiztion that a power much greater than myself, and the deep seated commitment to Him has truly been my salvation. I've witnessed many people die and the desperation consumes them and they still don't see it. Why do some choose to hang on to the insanity . And with the aids epedemic you would think that in itself would scare someone straight. But I tell you from my experience that doesn't work.
