My daughter called me tonight and told me she has been fainting at work...she doesn't like to worry me and she knows Tony's surgery is Thursday. Also, fluorescent lighting seems to trigger it(weird) I am wondering if she is having panic attacks, as I am predisposed to them . Anyway she is having an MRI and some other bloodwork done. Now my head is pounding.I CAN"T break my taper...I have worked too hard. I know the stress is getting to me more than the actual pain...I must stay strong...hence, my posting. I am not working much and my BF will be out of work for awhile. He has Aflac insurance so I shouldn't be too worried...but I am still feeling stressed. Maybe my addictive mind is setting me up for a fall? Trying to get me to break and take a pill? It wouldn't surprise me. I am going to take 2 advil and lay down ....Thanks for letting me vent..I really want to be free...I do. Sharonn

Sharon,
You answered yourself ... "Maybe my addictive mind is setting me up for a fall? Trying to get me to break and take a pill?..."
We have stress everyday, some stress is worse than others. We have to learn to cope with it without reaching for a pill.
You're doing great to realize what's happening and posting about it.
Your daughter is going to be fine.
