i was so thrilled when you guys taught me how to post pretty glittery pictures...
my computer crashed so i have missed 5 days of this forum and thought i would die!
this is the new problem, i now have instead of windows xp i have vista on the new computer.
it is giving me problems posting pretty pics.
i go to the picture i like, right click properties, hi light the url in the window that pops up and then i go to the post i wrote and click on images and a window keeps popping up that says you need to enter a url??? thats all the farther i can get :(
i keep thinking i entered the url when i hi lighted it, but it wont accept it, i have tried copy and paste but then when i go to post it all that shows up is the address and not the picture. I AM SO FRUSTRATED AND SAD, I loved posting those pretty pictures. any one have any suggestions?? jewels
Let me know how vista is, after you get used to it. My husband is an engineer and his company is a huge rival with microsoft. He says it is difficult to install and use. So let me know. Sorry for butting in, All these posts are like my coffe and paper in the morning anf they help me soooooooooo much.

F*CK! I hate computers. It's crashed me out twice while trying to post this.
So... For the third time, but some of the spontaneity will be lost, LOL.

I had the same problem after I installed some anti-spyware software. I think you need to turn off your pop-up blocker or temporarily allow pop-ups on this site. It prevents the "Image" window from showing.
Does that make sense?

okay gina, i have allowed pop ups now, let me see if i can post a pretty picture, hang on.... nope, it keeps saying YOU MUST ENTER A URL F*CK i am so sick of seeing that window!!!!! julie

This summer one of my sons friends hooked his laptop into our system to show off pirated software acquired during his summer trip to Singapore. Two days later, every single one of our computers crashed. My husband lost all his powerpoints for his fall classes, lost his reason, and installed military-grade anti-virus software. Were set at DefCon 4. Between that, the new wireless internet router and freakin yahoo messenger, I am about to fling my laptop out the window and go back to sending notes through the US Postal Service.

i dont know gina if i could change vista to xp, my sons are thrilled about vista and all the new things it has offered so far.
i used to use corel word perfect for writing documents etc and now they have changed it to micro soft images i think?? it offers all these neat new fonts that i am happy about and was bored with my old ones. i am still playing around with things and dont know yet if vista was a good switch or not.
I WANT MY GLITTERY PICTURES!! I loved doing those. i know you explained in a previous post about going to photo bucket and finding pictures etc to post, could you explain that again or bump up that post please.

GINA MY SON HELPED ME!!!! internet explorer was blocking scripts for this website so my son clicked on a yellow banner on top of the web page that said temporarily allow scripts and voila!!!! i am back in business, i am soooo happy! jewels.

Those are the formatting commands to get the quote box, but you need to remove the asterisks -- I put them in there so the formatting commands would show.
