The days are nearly over for my soberity, I have a good length of time sober,
Came to the decision this week, I am not staying sober anymore,
Also wont be coming back on this site as there is a few hipercites on here, giving out advice like they have years of soberity when in fact they can not in fact string 2 mths together, and are probably drinking as they type!!
You know who you are!
Signing off here.....signing on for a good time!
Why? Do you think it's going to be any better than it was when you got sober this time? Do you think it's all going to be fun and games this time? I hope you don't drink but if you do good luck with it.

And who are these said people? And exactly why would some hypocrites keep you off a board?
Exactly what length of time did you have sober? Will that be your version of recovery? Drunken binge periods with some dry periods in between as a harm reduction protocol? And why put this whole thing up in such dramatic effect? Whose attention/approval/drama do you want? Why would you care what some "hypocrites" think? Sounds like absolutely "trollish" behavior to me.
If being perpetually drunk is your good time, have at it. Just, whatever you do, if you run into any legal trouble, don't whine in front of the judge that you have a "disease", that is so pathetic. You might have a disease, but I really don't think it is exactly alcoholism, its alot more profound than that....

times up... if thats how you feel well go ahead and go back on the sauce, but before you do please spare a thought for the loved ones around you who will be devasted by your decision to drink again.
if your an alcoholic of my type, whats going through your mind to want back all the mental torture and self loathing, anxiety, panic, dry wretching, etc etc. that will be back when you start drinking again.
i'd rather die than go back to how i was at the end of my drinking. i also believe i may not be lucky enough to have the strength to stop again.
paul
p.s no i'm not drinking while i'm typing nor have i had a drink in almost 3 years, however i did pick up again a few years ago after 5 years of sobriety and believe me when you do pick up again it will be definately worse than it was last time

You a fool, Elim...never, maybe a bit human and you were sidetracked but the word fool & Elim do not go hand in hand...
Paul...way to go...I could relate to your post and thank you for the reminder that when we do go back out, it's never better, only takes up where we left off and progressively gets worse...
Have a nice day everyone.....

Times Up ~ Seriously, though if you are considering picking up a drink, think again, read my post about my friend succumbing to alcoholsim...it is a horrible death...however, you gotta do what you gotta do....it takes what it takes, and sometimes that's death, for some us...hopefully, you will not be one of the statistics....that never get sober again.

theres NEVER a reason to pick up a drink...just plenty of excuses
Elim I agree but I have thought about this post on/off all day...All I can say is that I know I am sober...I know I am grateful to be sober...And if Times Up chooses not to be...then he or she has to live with that decision...It's a shame to give up sobriety for a drunk life but to each his own...and there for the grace of God go I...Love Gina
Hi Elim
Of course he's a troll but that doesn't mean we can't use the thread for some good recovery LOL love the irony.
For me - well if an alcoholic is 1 day sober that's a miracle I reckon, so 2 months would be about 62 miracles.
Second comment - well they have that saying in AA do 90 meetings in 90 days and if you aren't happy we'll refund your misery.

The only thing I can say about Times up is YOU ARE A HUGE WASTE OF TIME! Go get your drink on and quit bothering us. I thought you had to get your party on? Better go get started! Your headache and vomit awaits you!
TU, Jails, Institutions and Death.....still waiting for me out there should I pick up, how bout you, wha are you willing to sacrifice for a drink?
Hey VW....I'm not sure I even believe this person. That's why I am rude. I think it's a troll. If I am wrong....and this person is really struggling then they are going about it the wrong way to get help! JMHO
