Congrats on day 8! You're right, 2007 will be a better year with the help of the Lord. I know that in times of my addiction and depression, I have stopped focusing on my faith and stopped turning to the Lord for help and guidance. I tried to control everything myself. Well, we all know how that turns out. I think first and foremost when we start our recovery, no matter how many relapses we've had, we must turn to the Lord and ask for His grace and mercy to get us through. Plus we need a good support system and a working plan. I have been reading your posts for quite a while now and I know you have a good heart and a strong desire to stay clean. You're in my prayers.
