Sammy,

I've missed you so much too. I hope that we can catch up by phone also.

It's been a hectic time around here. Last week my daugthter had surgery on Wednesday and then I had to take her to the ER on Sunday and she was re-admitted for post-op complications. She came home Tuesday and is ok now. My little Boston Terrier expired last Thursday. She was 10 years old and we loved her so much and she was such a part of our family. I've cried my eyes out over her. Also my Brothers FIL passed away and I attended his funeral on Wednesday. I spend 5 hours on the road and even after resting yesterday I still feel exhausted.

Do you have your Christmas shopping completed? I still have a few presents to buy, but........ Right now, I'm considering whether to get started on doing that and fight the traffic with a million other folks on this rainy, nasty day in KY or to just climb back in bed with Maddy and do some serious snuggling and listen to the rain on the sky light. My mind is telling me one thing but I think I will liisten to my heart on this one, lol.

Merry Christmas Sammy, I love you.

Sharon

Hey Sharon, It's a rainy, nasty day in GA, too. I would love to get back in the bed, but only in my dreams could that happen. There is much to be done and so little time (as Willie Wonka would say).

We haven't talked in a while, and I regret that. I hope you and your family are going to have a lovely Christmas. Sorry to read about your daughter. That is tough, being sick at this time of year. But she has you, Super Mom, and Super Nurse, so she's got the best of a bad situation.

Is Maddy excited as heck? Her's is such a great age to experience the magic with! You lucky woman! I swear it is so much fun the second time around! There has not been many days since Cade's birth that I have not thanked God for allowing me this honor,,,,,,,to give motherhood a second shot. I am a lucky woman, too. He's 11 now, and although Santa is out of the closet here, it's still tons of fun!

I know it has been a trying year for you and your family, and that it's even harder at Christmas. I will keep you in my prayers, and ask that although you miss them all and long to have them with you, they are happy and smiling as they watch you and your loved ones enjoy this life and this special time of year.
Take care of yourself while you take care of everyone else, Sharon.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and healthy New Year!
Love, Carol
