Tracy,well i just been reading your post.I want to say dont consider rapid detox i have read many of story some terible storys.Also there is flordia detox where they fly people in .I almost consider it with me not know my the choices i had.I had not really done alot of researching and wanted a quick fix.Until i read the story about rapid dextor and the one in flo. its sub. they give you. Its a hospital you have to be in w/ds .At that time i didnt know that you could go to doctors and get the stuff.I almost got a loan and drove myself thier.It was going to run the man said 3,000 i told him that was too much he later called me back kept emailing me saying they would only charge 1,500 .They were to give the the sub. and send me home that same day and would call in the scripts for 2 weeks after to your pharmacy if everything went well.I didnt go and im glad i didnt i got online started doing research to firgure out how it could be done without going into a rehab.I too have 2 kids no one to keep them.My life was he** until this past thursday.I have got a sub. doctor.Your probley saying why is she telling me all this.I dont want to see people get rippied off.And i have read a about people doing the rapid detox at other places some pretty scarey stuff.Just make sure that you do your research.Sub. would even be worth you going out of your state to get its been a lifesaver for me.I have found websites that sell it i guess thats ok for me to say.I dont know if the stand good on thier words of delivering it.Just do your reseach before you decide to jump on it.I wish you the best of luck .hope you find help soon.crystal

Hi Crystal Thanks for the advise I did look into rapid detox and it is very expensive and I also heard many horror stories about it I would like to get on sub but its not going to be available here in Canada until the end of the year, Im seeing my doc tommorrow Im gonna mention it to him and see what he knows about it .Did the person you were refering to get it from a internet pharmacy?
Is there anyway that people from Canada can come to the US and see dr's and get Sub?

gargl28...I'm sorry, I know you're intentions are good but posting that kind of info is lethal for some. This is a recovery board, we talk about how to get off of the drugs, not get more. A dr. is the only one that should prescribe Sub. and patients need to be monitered closely and follow a strict taper program.

I wasnt looking to aquire anything illegally it didnt even occur to me just looking for info on the drug and wondering if someone from my country would be allowed to see a doctor or legaly be able to get treatment in another country anyway someone posted to me that sub has been approved in Canada but wouldnt be available until the end of the year so our doctors could be schooled on it I seen my doc today and he asked me to bring himinfo on it and he would ask his colleages about it and see how he could help me.Im sorry if people got the wrong impression obtaining drugs illegaly was the furthest thing from my mind.Thanks for all your help and once again I appologise if I gave you all the wrong impression.Tracey

I know fiorinals are a narcotic and they are addictive there hard to get from drs now because of that and they have the newer migrain relievers out now like imatrex but they are very expensive also.my doc gave them to me and they were like 160 for 12 pills.
hello,tracy sorry to have posted about web pharmacy.I guess i have been dealing with my percs. addiction for so long and was temped to try to order them myself.I was looking for help anyway i could found it.I didnt mean to misunderstand anyone .And cowgirl ,i just didnt think with it being sub. that the board would mind.My doctor monortied me for 15 mins .Some on here got the scripts without haveing to be.I had good intention .But i guess they turned out bad one after all.Sorry for it all.Good luck to both of you in your recovery.

Dont worry about it crystal It took me by surprize too I wasnt even thinking about anything illegal anyways like I said sub will soon be available here and my docs gonna check into it for me.I know what you mean perks and oxy are my doc and the cravings are brutal that drug just doesnt want to let go I wish I never heard of the bloody things they are a nightmare.Have you got off them or are you still trying? What do you do to handle the cravings?
Nobody is busting your chops for what you said, it was just a reminder that some info is dangerous. Sub should not be bought online, just like other narcotics should not be bought online. You really need to be monitered by a dr.

Hello,tracy i have been on sub. for 6 days .Its is really good stuff.I dont have craveings and dont even think about the percs. anymore i wont to keep them out of my mind.And also cut my ties with the ones that use and sell them.Im hopeing to soon go back to work and start aa meetings.I havent went back to work because i had so much to do around here and getting caught up on all my runing around with school meeting and ect. things i could not do when on my pers Also have to find me another job.Being i quit mine 1 month ago i got down and felt i couldnt work.I wouldnt of been any good to them anyways..Im just worried that i will stay on sub. too long or i just wont be able to get off of it.I got to start tampping thurs. down 2 mgs a week.im on 8mgs now.Sub. is a very expense drug.If you dont have insurance like me you better go ahead and get some make sure it aleast covers the sub. The vists are also high here in ga.And most insurance take time to kick in.I wish you luck and hope you get help soon.take care,crystal

Hi..back to the Fioricent (with no codeine) ..what I am asking is when I get a major migraine and take Zomig and it doesnt work and I am sick as a dog for 3 days.. is it safe to take the Fioricent since it has no codeine?i AM JUST ON DAY 4 CLEAN off Vicodins. I dont take the Fioricet dialy..only when I have a headachae.Its doesnt give me the high Vic's did. Advice appreciated!

I htink bad habits are easier to start and continue when we are alone alot and dont reach out.Pls find someone..in person..plus the boards to confide in.Sometimes seeing the love and caring in someone else's eyes can help in a way no board can...but dont get me wrong..this board has helped me thru my cold turkey which I am still going thru. I am thankful to everyone here..

ok as far as I know fioricet has a barbituate in it . Which can be addictive but if you only take them when you abbsolutly need them its fine I know migraines are brutal and nobody expects you to suffer like that Have you tried imitrax or any one of those new non narcotic pain relievers for migraines?
