Yo, you guys covered the EYE-TALIANS. Anyone catch "The Black Donnelly's"? Talk about stereotyping. Although my friend said "That's inaccurate. We don't bring FOOD to funerals. We only bring booze" There's some cute guys on that show though. I'm a lone German in TV land.

Ha! The sopranos can go whistle! I gotta babysitter so I'm outta here. I love this little girl so much but boy, it's nice to escape for a couple of hours. We took her to the beach yesterday but there was a cold sea breeze and neither me or her dad had jackets, so we canned the fishing idea and went for a drink at the yacht club. Well, we took it in turns to go have a drink coz one of us stayed in the car with Rowanne whilst the other one downed a swift one. Nothing like togetherness. And that was nothing like togetherness. But her grand mam had her for exactly an hour last night and I flew down to where my boyfriend was working, dragged him away from the cement mixer and straight into the nearest pub. Highly uncharacteristic of me, but times where I don't have the baby latched to me are extremely precious and the simple pleasure of downing a cold one takes on a whole new significance. And what did we do whilst we were out? Talked about babies! After all the grief her father gave me, saying that having a kid would ruin everything and generally being a complete twat, he wants another one. I told him whoa now, she's only 17 days old, I can't be thinkimg about having another one for quite a while. She's more than enough to deal with!
Anyway she's wanting feeding again, and I need to wash off the worst of the baby sick and make myself presentable...

Diff, I am so glad that you are enjoying Rowanne. I would feel guilty if I did not mention this in concern for your little girl. When you drink alcohol, the baby also drinks when you are breastfeeding. Please keep this in mind...I would consult your baby dr to see if there is any "safe" level of consumption.

I shouldn't worry too much about the alcohol thing. Since I'm always the one driving, I can't ever drink more than 1 pint of pissy lager. The baby gets more delicious each passing day. I think I really could eat her sometimes! She's been smiling at everyone recently. Her eyes have turned brown, and she's the prettiest little thing you ever saw. And so laid back! She really is a super-chilled baby...
