Would any of you be interested in an IRC chat?
I could set it up and we could either have it be completely open or have it up daily starting at a certain time....
I would, of course, post instructions, etc, but I wanted to get a feel for how many of you would be interested in having something like this available... or if it's against any rules or anything...
I'm not allowed to do a "poll" yet - would someone mind setting one up?

That's an interesting idea and one that's been brought up before. But after some of the full moon Saturday nights here, I think the moderators decided that the budget wouldn't extend to hiring a bouncer. LOL
I'm all for it though. It would take my nonsense off the serious recovery threads. Maybe.

I can be scary when I want (no, no I can't, but I would like to think I can).
Molly, it's all good - if we get it started it's totally optional for those who would want to participate.
I just like the idea of extending some of these conversations to real time.
Also, IRC has all sorts of functions that can make the room invisible, private, and very safe for us to chat in if we go in that direction.

I owe you another apology. I've just realized that I reworded all of your poll questions.
My only excuse is that I spent all morning editing galley proofs. Also I worked in survey research for four years at UCLA Med. Sch. reworking surveys for doctors who didn't know how to write.
I'm not typically this intrusive, despite my rep as board grammar nazi. Old behaviors just kicked in when I got a survey in my hands. I'm really sorry.
