Wow....thank you for the reminder. What a tragedy.
I found out today that the man that he hit that lived will probably lose his legs. My friend was talking to his roommate (the driver's) and he has been drunk since it happened and his main complaint was that he couldn't get his stuff out of his car. I don't think he'll have to worry about his stuff now. Bubba will take care of it for him. I was surprised that the newspaper had the accident when it happened (Mother's Day) but nothing on his arrest last night. Seems the SWAT team showed up and busted down the door and dragged him out. Scared the crap out of the roommate as they aimed an AK47? and a flashlight at him in the middle of the night. YIKES!
