What The Heck?

A couple of the threads from last night are gone. What happened to them? Shantel

Good morning!
Do you remember which ones they are, Shantell? I may have a theory on what happened.
Carol, The threads where we were posting about the war and the Presidents speech. The one time my husband actually was reading the different threads and taking and interest on why I always post here he decides to post back and poof it's gone. Shantel
Shantel-They got too political.I was expecting them to be pulled at any moment even though we were all being very civil.Sorry.How are you? I thought your husband was very nice.

that's what I thought, and I am glad I missed it.

I hope at least one person spoke up on behalf of us gd Suburban driving, spa going, over-achieving enemies of the Taliban.
Hey Shantell:

I hope you know my comments to your husband were sincere and meant with respect.

Have a nice day.

Sarah
Hey guys, He loved coming on here and me telling him who everyone was and reading all the post and showing him how to navigate around the site. After he posted we had to sign off and help our son print a political cartoon off for school and ended up falling asleep. Wish I could have followed through with the threads before they were deleted. Guess we don't have freedon of speech on here as he always tells me thats one of the things he fights for when he goes to war. Shantel
Sarah, He respected your point of view on the war and everyones. Does he think we have been in Iraq to long hell ya does he like all the killing going on no but like he told me last night you would have to be there to really see the whole reason why we are there. He can't really say to much on a public forum about what really goes on over there being he is still active in the military but I can tell you I have seen this man come back from war waking up in the middle of the night screaming out with nightmares from what he has seen in his 19 years of duty. It is not pretty. He doesn't agree with alot of what the Pres. does but that is his Commander in Chief. Shantel
Shantell:

I totally understand. I hope he doesn't have to go back to Iraq. 19 years of service! Wow. My hat is off to him.

I have loved ones that have been there too. They are so young and it scares me for them to leave here, but that is what they signed up for. The two young people I know are in the National Guard.

I have a very close older friend who is a Nam Veteran. He still has health issues, both physically and mentally from that experience.

My father was a veteran as well. Navy, Korean Conflict.

I am glad I said nothing to offend your husband!

Peace.

Sarah
