ok--thanks! I thought it was the same thing but I read another note that made me think they were two different things. My husband has snorted it--or it's fumes I guess--I don't know that much about it. I also know that he has smoked it in a glass pipe but since I am not familiar with this stuff, when I asked how, I mean--when you light the pipe (if you do even light it) do you put the pipe up to your mouth like you would if you were lighting a cigarette, or do you put your lighter like underneath the pipe to just heat it up then inhale it??? I started to apologize for being so ignorant, but I really am glad that I have not exposed myself to this horror. I thought I saw him with a pipe, held down kind of in his lap with a lighter under it and was just trying to figure out (if my eyes weren't playing tricks on me) what exactly he was doing. thanks so much for replying!!!

yes you put the pipe to your mouth like a cigarette but you light the pipe on the bottom to heat up the ice and then inhale it while it is smoking.\
