Hello everybody hows things going?
Its been 8 mths since I started visiting this site ,and on friday 14th it will be 8 mths since I had my very last drink, oh how time flys, I would like to thank everybody for helping me get to this stage of my life,
I once said to a mate "if I cant drink I may as well be dead , what else is there to do?" And now I know there is a lot more to life than alcohol, I just needed to clear my head and eyes to see it, VW girl thank you for your support you are a champion ! Lionel thank you to,

Wow 8 months thats great.
I to couldnt imagine going a day without alcohol and now through the grace of God and for me Alcoholics Anonymous its a little over 14 years ..
I have been able to do that because I learnt to keep it in the day and at times in the Now... (No Other Way).
And no mater what happens in my day I dont pick up that first drink or drug. Because there the ones that do the damage.
Today I am in my dreams awake. I am doing things I only once dreamt of I am free from the bondage of self. I used to say to the osm (older sober member) but what will I do in my spare time. They would reply what spare time and I would look at them cross-eyed.
Today there just isnt enough time in my day to do all I want to do. They were right.
