Where's Carol?

Are you on vacation?
haven't seen her in a few days...
Rachel,

I was thinking the same thing, the last thing I read is she tossed out her back and was going to the doctor. I need to put in a jewelry order, but don't want to unless she is well.
There was also a death in the family or someone close to them I think.

I am HERE!!! LOL It's so nice to be missed, thank you ladies.

I didn't go to the dr., it got better, guess I have been sleeping on it wrong or something. I did have a funeral Wed. and Thur., a field trip with my son to the Atlanta Botanical Garden Fri., an Art show today, and tomorrow we are having Cade's b'day party at the skate park. So with all that coupled with meetings, being a mom, and all that entails, I have just been too busy to get near the computer.

But I have to say, I miss you guys. My life has really revved up the past couple of weeks, and my time on the board has dropped dramatically. I think about it often when I am not here, and miss all the good people and conversation.

But, alas, my goal of getting a few things going outside of my home are taking shape. I start my new job Monday morning. It's part time at a fine jewelry store, right up my alley. I am happy about that and looking forward to it.

At the same time, my little custom jewelry business endeavor has taken off and doing well. I was in my first show today and did pretty good, but sales out of my house do better.

Didn't mean to be so long winded, but all of that is why I have been absent, and will probably be even more so in the future. It's time for me to get back to the land of the living and quit spending my days home alone isolated. I have been in my re-grouping mode since the middle of last November, almost a year.

I am still on the Sub., so it's not like this project is over, but I have come a long way, and think I am going to be able to handle the re=entry to the clean world when the day finally comes to get off of Sub.

How are all of you?

Rach, did you bag arrive? Brook, email me anytime, we'll talk about what you would like. Janet, how are you doing doing?

Carol:

May bag arrived :-) OMG, it is gorgeous. It's amazing how I was willing to go to any length to get this purse, lol...I am happy to see you, my friend. A jewlery store? Don't spend all of your paychecks...

Rachel

I knew you would love it, it looked FABULOUS! Enjoy it.

The beauty of working in this store is, there is nothing there I really want. My husband has always loved jewelry, and I have more now than I want or need.

I had been in the store looking at something for Kelli for Christmas, which is how this job happened in the first place. I will get that for her, but nothing else.

(wink).
Did someone say jewelry???? I would love to see what you have for sale! Do you have a catalog, Carol?

It's nice to see you post.

Lisa

CArol:

I have been on E-Bay (sigh)...Now, I am finding out I can buy my Kerastase hair products there, geesh...My new addiction...

My girlfriend is a jewlery rep. She has very cool things. I've got the shopping bug right now which is never a good thing...

Rachel
Thanks, Lisa. I have pictures. Someone finally told me they are HUGE, so for those of you who got them, sorry. I will scale them down next time. I will send you some. You too, Rach.

OMG! The shopping bug must be going around. I have had it B A D ! I told you ages ago how wonderful EBAY is, girl! They have EVERYTHING, and then some, huh? It;s amazing and fun! I seriously used to be addicted to it. I bought so much stuff, I opened a store there to sell most of it back. LOL

I think it's over, at least I hope. But now it's time to start Christmas shopping. Most of the females on my list are getting jewelry, so that about cuts it in half, though. LOL
I'll get my Christmas list to you Carol by the end of the week.

Thanks in advance!

Jim

JR:

Lol, good one! I will start on mine also. Thanks in advance, Carol....How are you Jim? Love seeing you.

Rachel, YGM
Hey Rachel...

Doin okay I guess. Grateful for lots of things these days - the simple things in life, but most of all another chance at home. But lots of work to do. You know how it is with this recovery stuff...it's not enough to want to change, you have to be willing to take risks and experience change. That can be painful, but for me it's the only way to stay on the straight and narrow.

How's La La land? Saw you didn't get the job you wanted. Sorry to read that, but in time the right door will open for you. I just know it.

Jim

Jim:

You sound great! Things are pretty good here. No, I didn't get that promotion but I believe there is a reason for everything. That division isn't doing that great. I am up for yet another one, though, in Cardiology which is where I have experience. So, hopefully, if that is where I am supposed to be then...How is your wife doing? She stayed at her current company and went into Specialty, also? Good to see you!

Rachel
Yes, she got a job in acute care...goes into the ER and stuff like that. She's studying right now and will be off to Indy soon for thre weeks of training. So I'm happy for her - she needed to move on, and her boss was a b****.

Jim
Hey Carol!

I'm doing good! I just finished a job for a repo company....gosh i hate going to these homes that people trash just cause the bank is taking them over.

I'm hoping to get a job for the City Clerk of Court, I'm faxing my resume Monday. I worked as an Intern for the District Attorney's office, doing warrants and court appearances after I got my Paralegal degree, so I'm hoping that, in conjunction with my Notary Public license will get me the job. Then I will be able to stay active in Real Estate and continue these bank repo jobs for extra cash.

It's good to see you back again, you've been missed
Good to see you out in the land of the living, Carol. You have way too much spunk to keep it in the house....get out and share.

Peace.
Kerry
