Well not me, You know I've watched every DVD I got I've seen the birth of jesus and the fall of Rome.You know it's bad when the clock hits 5:00 am and you start thinken hey maybe I'll go out and see if my bud next doors up yet. you know there's just not alot for a recovering addict to do from say 12:00 to 7:00am. But you know what I haven't seen Yea Right my Bed and sleep oh yea I tryed the old lay there till you go to sleep thing, but you know what I bet last night I layed there in one place with my eyelids shut mind you longer then I every layed still in my whole of my life. Trying not to move unless I had to. But my eyes kept wateren and my body swetting so tied but that's right no sleeping in my bed not for me.
This is more fun then slamming my hand in the car door. If only I knew withdraw was such a Hoot I"d quit years ago. NOT
Well there got that off my chest
You know I still got what 9 days before I start changing back into a human being again. They tell me three weeks is the start and I can't wait Here I come bed!
Oh and here's one more thing I'd really enjoy feedback on this one from everyone.
You know you heard me talking about the fog I've been in for well 8 years wow.
Well anyway as the fog starts to clear and you see yourself for what you've become and your life if you can call it that I know this will not hold true for eveyone so please don't be offened but I looked at myself and my life what I've done to it all the changes I made while in the fog ( fog being out of my freakin mind on pain pills) OH MY GOD what a mess and I started a relationship while stoned out of my goard I mean in the fog Oh is there no mercy you know messin your own life up is one thing but bring others into my freakin fog bank. Oh my I have much on my plate to deal with I look around me and see not me or what I was but some really strange place you know like you fell asleep and wake up at someone elses house.Ok maybe that never happened to you but just pretend it did ok. What have I done to myself as well as this sweet girl. I'm sorry but pickin girl while in the fog ( stoned out of your goard) is like going into a room with a bag on your head and grabing the first thing you find. Am I the only idot to be this stupid do I get the sign (you know the one you hold that says stupid person) so ppl don't talk to you or ask you questions.
I can just hear the post now don't worry it'll work it's self out, but you didn't even ask if she got teeth. (and yes she does and she's pretty too) I just don't like the idea of making big choses like this while in the fog. What if what if there's alot of what if's to this. Ok you can all go back to your house now you don't have to pretent with me about the wakin up in someone elses house thing anymore I'm done with that for now. But I'm sure you can see what I mean about the things we or me have done to our selfs and others and now I have start cleaning up and righting my wrongs one by one Oh I know I say day 12 now but you know I'm really only going 1 hour at a time for now just like one problem at a time that's as fast as I can take it for right now. Great ppl like the one here are what truely make the world what it is.

One hour at a time and if that doesn't work, one minute at a time or one second. One foot in front of the other, carefully, until the fog lifts. You don't have to settle any of life's big questions RIGHT now. You can postpone them until the fog lifts for good. Lack of sleep isn't good for making decisions (even though there's plenty of time for them!) Have you tried melatonin? It's a real help for some and it's a natural substance.

Do you have a little exercise program??? Moving your body as much as possible will help you sleep...I know it is difficult, but this is the time you really have to push yourself to do it. Walking was one of the best things I did for myself. I didn't have much energy, with lack of sleep and just the general shift in brain chemistry...but every bit you can do will help you.
As far as all the bad choices we make while in the "fog". I won't say it will all work itself out....because it won't. I don't believe that. I think that "passive" attitude is a part of how we get ourselves addicted. Recovery requires action. You really have to have a plan for staying sober...and you have to work your plan. It doesn't just happen to you, you have to make it happen. Like I said before, ONE DAY AT A TIME.
But, I will say this...you cannot deal with every bad choice you made at one time. You have to get some clean time under your belt. Deal with the physical part first, then with the help of someone who has been there, you can begin to deal with issues...one at a time, start one, finish one, and move on to the next. The good news is, once you are over the physical and your mind is working better....you CAN deal with them.
Before, we just got high, and checked out on issues. Now, we are getting stronger and clearer and we are more able to sort through what is important and what is not. We train ourselves to make "healthy" choices...and we trust that what we need is available to us.
I found, once I had some clarity, that many of the things that had troubled me when I was using just don't have any weight anymore. A lot of the things that occupied my mind were just aspects of using...and once I eliminated that problem, I also eliminated a lot of the things that worried me.
Using brings a lot of fear and anxiety. Being clean, and living one day at a time, brings peace. All that projecting and paranoia is not healthy...it is a part of what falls away once we begin to step into the light.
Hang in there...try to work your body some. Do what you can!

Well good day to all and today is my go to the beach day as soon as I get my running around done. I do exercise and get out and thanx for the Mel. idea I'm goiing to try it sleep sure would be nice right now. I keep my fingers crossed that each day sleep will find me. I've been trying to work though all that is coming at me it's good that the fog clears but there is now much to do for me. I thought about going out to my sailboat and spending the night there I aways sleep good there but no post if I do.

I have three boats for the most part two sail boats and one cruser first a 30 foot pearson sailboat second a Dayhlar 31 SL Yaht class Sailboat ( this one is fast) and my cruser a 24.5 foot stand up cabin with the full package v-8 mercruser nice boat to camp on or take trip. I liked sailing up and down the coast but did get tierd of doing everything by myself so did not head to the keys or carabians this year stayed home to clean up Yuck what was I thinking! lol wine beer sun and fun and I stayed here for this I must be loosing it right? lol
