Hello All!
Long story short...., over the past 5 yrs we've done a couple of detox 3-5 day centers, an all womans In -Patient for 30 plus days, and now we've slipped. It was a yr ago April and I knew this day was coming. Starting to get out out control. Oh yeah, she's also diagnosed as being bi-polar.
She is Buddhist,and wants to get help in an alternative manner rather then the standard AA 12 Step. I informed her that the AA will probably be a part of every rehab, but wants to use Buddhist methods to help maintain the self control
Any suggestions?

Go to AA and still practice Buddhism at the same time.
AA is not religious, it is spiritual. There are lots of people that are Buddhist. Or Christian. Or Jewish. Or no religion at all (me). AA offers recovery from alcoholism. That's all.
