I remember just a short time back how honest you were when you shared parts of your story. Your struggles from active addiction and your happier times of a life in sobriety. I'm so happy you found your way back to living with out drinking, or harming yourself.
The doors of AA are always open to all. I'll bet the meeting you started long ago the members there are grateful. It's good to see you becoming active in whatever solution you choose to grow and remain sober.
Your honesty, your warmth that you share with others is an inspiration to people. Your story has much to offer those who are still suffering and also those who are active in recovery.
You sparkle and are bright, friendly, honest, a beautiful spirit. I to have sensed the shift in you. It's really gratifying to watch your journey. Your courage and humbleness makes it easy to respond to your kind spirit.
I wish you all the best in your journey of your sober life!!!
Congratulations again Lisa! I'm so glad you're here to receive your chip! What a lovely thought that is. I'm happy for you and for me and for everyone else who is loving your rebirth. What a beautiful world this is!
Congratulations Miss Zipper, how proud you must be of yourself, and you have helped many on this board. I see you, helping pick people up, when they are feeling down ;)! I usually post on PP Board, but, have seen you around, can't miss that pretty face :) Good for you, what a great thing for you to be able to say! I am glad you are 60 days into a wonderful new beginning! Lots of Luck~ Lucky
Izzy~ the chip is something they give in AA for 24 hours, and certain amounts of days, like 30 or 60 as Zipper has, at least at the AA meetings, or NA meetings..They ask you to come up and receive the chip if you have that clean time, ...If you are there, putting the clean time in you will get the chip when you acknowledge you have been clean for that period of time, here Zipper's 60 days has been recognized and cyber-given...well deserved, if I must say so !
Lucky...thank you for your kind words and encouragment. I am so grateful for the new friends I've made on this board. It sure does help, especially when I get down because most my drinking "friends" no longer call...
