can I really get rid of these pills and live happinly and be normal ????
or I'm gonna slip again and again, cause someone told me no matter how clean I become .. I will go again to these drugs!

Hey Misty,Danny,Mitzy and FS, how is everyone today?? Fs you can say what you want to but just clean it up so to speak. To answer you question yes you can live normal and happy after pills. Some people do relapse and start taking pills again and other have years clean. So yes there is life after pills. What are you taking and for how long? Rach

Well hun that all depends on you, have u ever heard of NA? i go to meetings and have a sponcer and i am working on step 4 ahhhh, anyways the program works if u work it, its not for everyone?, but it has done wounders for millions!! and it has never failed anyone who has done the program correctly... gezzz i sound like a spokesperson or something, hehe... any ways what do ya think??

I'm taking xanax, for about 2 years on and off, and once I tried valium as well

There you go Danny maybe you can help her more than me. My addiction is to hydro. Xanax was never my pill of choice. They make me go to sleep and not wake up. I can't see how anyone can function on them. I know a lot of people say it is pretty rough to get off of so maybe others here can offer better advice to you. Best of Luck if I can help in anyway let me know!!! Rae

FarStars, if I truly believed that once I got off the drugs I would ALWAYS go back, I would not be on here begging for help.... I think that something deep down inside of you lets you know that you can, and will, get clean....
