Cartoons

Saturday morning cartoons are just plain frightening anymore.......they got some bizarre ones...............they even look a little scary.

Where's Speed Racer and Chim Chim, and Spridle..............where's the Animaniacs..............whre's Little Audrey.

Yes, I like to pitch a fit over sill things............LOL........just messing.
If I'm not mistaken Bryn, I think they did a movie about Speed Racer that will be out some time this year. They also did my favorite Horton Hears a Who with Jim Carrey as Horton...I can hardly wait for that one.

Now girlie, if ya was a cable gal they do have to old cartoons on a station. I love TopCat
Top Cat I remember him.

How about Boris Badanov and what's his chick's name? Natasha?

Moroco Mole too...............J, I was not the Speed Racer fan but had to love it through osmosis.................my brother loved that cartoon.........don't even start about these "movies" like Underdog and stuff.............NO NO NO NO.......they ain't real people................I don't like my cartoons being real humans and all...no way and I don't wanna know who played Polly Purebread.

Girl, thanks for the cable lookout..............guess I gotta go South, right?
Who remembers centurians or thundercats....
"thunder cats are on the move....."

Getting flashbacks of my childhood now, hiding behind the couch, skipping church so i can watch worzell gummig. Good times!!
Good times indeed ....Kev ..i am going thru my 2nd.childhood ...with Sian watches on t.v....weve got all the channels....so you name i know ...what,where or who did it .....we even have chats about plots and chatacters but we get a lot of good ol teen skool type stuff....U.S made so theres always a happy ending......giveme Bagpuss or Morph any day...or the Banana Splits.......but ive strangly been moved by Lizzie Mcguire of late....and ive got Hnnah Montana songs being played in my general area....so its a love hate thing.
Bryn as for cartoons Si likes Scooby Doo the best but for their madness she also likes Tom and Jerry......1 thing i am blessed with is she dont like the Power Rangers....jesus that would truely be the worst
Davey, i hold you in high regard, ut hannah montana lol lol .... just you keep listening to her and i'll top the league

Seriously, i hope you and Sian are all good, you know i mean that, Kev

GYAC, class.....
INDEED....4ever a classic!
Darin nice one....that tops it though lol, lol.
Take care lads..............Davey
Davey, the worst is Barney and Teletubbies. OMG, had my grandson over and had to listen to that stuff...Sesame Street hasn't changed much in the 29 years since my son was little.
Yeah....Janet ..Barney kinda freaks me out ....the Ttubbies im afraid me and Sian are into them for there weirdness limit....and your right Sesame St.aint changed only for The Count who would count(yeah)from one to ten in a rarther ghoulish manner.
Take care.......Davey

Take me baaaaaaaaaack...............!

Davey, I can't believe the staying power of Tom and Jerry - they've been around forever and my students all love'm, too, partly I think, because there's motre action and less talk. Darin, Secret Squirrel, cut it out! What about...

...Magilla Gorilla
...Wally Gator
...Lippy the Lion (and Hardy HarHar)
...Peter Pottamus
...George of the Jungle
...Ricochet Rabbit
...Huckleberry Hound
...Augie Doggie and Doggy Daddy
...Quick Draw McGraw
...Snagglepuss (exit, stage left)

...and for something a little less obscure the Flintstones - we lived by the Flintstones! The alligator garbage disposal, the parrot telephone, the bird can opener, Dash Riprock and Perry Masonery. And The Jetsons...

Oh, man, I dug Top Cat, he was the most, him and his boy Benny. Jeepers, I can even remember the theme songs for these cartoons. Not a bad assortment considering we only got three VHF channels, 1 PBS, and two UHF. Now they have nothing but choices and there's still nothing on TV. (Springsteen, I think...57 channels and there's nothing on...)

Exit Stage Left~MomNMore
What about captain caaaaaaaaaaaaaavemaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn!

No, no, GYAC please don't stop! That's from our day. Secret Squirel and Mr. Magoo. Baby Huey. I like Foghorn Leghorn too.

Real little I loved "Little Audrey".

How's about later Dark Wing Duck, anyone?

Oh and for us oldheads Fat Albert with Mush Mouth? Also, Pink Panther, and UNDERDOG!
How about Kimba, the white lion? I can remember crying my heart out when her mother died. Oh and the Beatles cartoons! (yes, I'm that old LOL)

As for old shows: Watching Daktari or Born Free and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Ed Sullivan.

My biggest crush: Bobby Sherman on Here Come the Brides...oooooeeee kissed his poster every night
