Its a rainy rainy day here in NY but I suppose its better than snow.Still it tends to make the start of the day sort of dreary.
I read Sharons post & like LB my heart goes out to her.She has been stuggling for so long & needs a break.I think Sub would be a good option & I hope they offer it to her

Hey MJ! Good to see you! Enjoy the rainy day by staying inside where it's warm and cozy. We had one yesterday and I didn't do a darn thing but lay around,,,,,,and it was great!
Now it's time to get back to the real world and get busy! Still have returns to do, and lots of jewelry orders.

Goos morning you two. Rain here too. It has rained for days, and I hear the forecast is calling for rain as far as the forecast goes. I hate snow, but I hate continous rain too. UGGG I don't watch the weather, but think we possibly may get snow. I base this on my crazy old neighbor turning her vehicles around so that they are facing down her mountain of a driveway. LOL That's how I tell if there is snow in the forecast. If I need to know how much snow is expected, I just drive by the grocery store. If the lot is almost full, 1-3 inches. If the lot is full with people hovering waiting for a spot, 3-6 inches.
It HAS to be better than yesterday.Usually I love time with the kittys,but yesterday I did my first & Ive desided my LAST Adoption!!!
I didnt like having that kind of responsablitily at all & I cried the WHOLE way home!!
I could tell this little girl really needed this kitty.She was the type you could tell people (kids)pick on & shes wanted a kitty for so long,BUT I just couldnt deal.
Its one thing to show up & hear that one of the babies were adopted its another to actually put that baby in a crate & say goodbye.
I did call my boss & tell her...Oh No Never again...Thankfully she understood!!!
Carol you & I owe each other a catch up letter soon,but I totally get that you must be busy.Whenever you get time

See when I was MIA we had something very heartbreaking happen here.Something that totally turned me off on the ASPCA.

My sister adopted a dog from there around a year ago.Now the ASPCA we have here is a no kill shelter which means they will do whatever to get dogs adopted.
When she first got Chance they told her
#1 he was full grown(lie)
#2 he was a Lab terrier mix(big time lie)
turns out a year later after my nephew got attactched to this beautiful dog that he wasnt full grown 7 he was lad Rotwheller mix.Not a bad mix because I feel it all in the owner.I loved him myself.....BUT the most saddest part of this is ....this dog for reasons unknown had attacked my BIL at least 5 times.To the point where my BIL actually needed a chair to get him off.Keep in mind that this beautiful dog treated my nephew like a puppy full of love but my poor BIL was getting in bad shape & I had to help deal with her bring him to a animamal hospital.We dont know (thankfully)if he was put down or someone else has taken him but Ill tell you it was a hard situation for all of us & this is the FIRST time Ive actually spoke of it so I thank you for letting me finally get this out.Sorry it was a long story...

I was wondering actually how long you could deal with parting with those kitties you were falling in love with. I know you, and I know you would bring them all home with you if you could. LOL I hate to see you give up your job, though.

Oh no I wont give it up but I now know I can NOT be the one to adopt out.I can go give my love attention & time but saying goodbye it hurts too much.So Ive desided that even if Im there with my boss if she make an adoption Ill just take a break & go outside.

Lazy Monday morning here..............We are actually seeing a bit of the sun, but I am sure that is short lived.............I would rather have some snowfall than this dreary weather, at least the snow covers up the starkness of the trees, and makes for a pretty scene out here.

When I was sick, i probably took 2mg of sub in a 2.5 days time.
It's been raining her a lot lately, yesterday, and Friday it stormed BAD, Tornado warnings and such...but i like it when it storms. ;)

I got the flu when I first started sub, and I was the same way, I just could not take it, My stomach was upset, and I was so fearful of making it worse I just did not take it.........

Goos morning ladies and gents!
I just woke up...lazy me! I changed the sheets on my waterbed last night and I am suffering for it. I iced my neck and that didn't help. I am about to take a big knife to the bed and stab it to death...I have to pick up several hundred pounds of water every time I try to pull the corners up to put the sheet under it. Well maybe not several hundred, but I'm sure it's over a hundred.
So what is everyone up to? I wanted to do some more cleaning but that's not going to happen today.

Nope, it's got to wait another day or so. I was having horrible spasms in my neck last night. It's going to have to wait. I want to hang curtains too. I guess the closest I will get to work is making supper. I had my hubby put a lidocaine patch on my neck so I could sleep, it helped a little, but I need to change it and I can never get it on so that it doesn't stick to my hair or fold up where I need it on.
I'm supposed to get a call to set up my next shots, but they were going to do the left side only, I want both sides (might save me some money) done at once bc they were going to do the left only and I hurt the right hand side. I had a difficult time getting my pinky to bend this morning.
