Yepper folks Davey is no longer on the social....i applied for a job in a small metal work shop 2wks.ago and got the phone call today.....start Monday ...and i have to do a half day Sat.but get a day off during the week ..so il still be able to get my methedone script....moneys not that good but its enuff...to get by on and pay the bills.The place has only 5guys working there all seem to be o.k i.e no rednecks...they make gates with all the decroctive swirls and shapes...so i can put my skills to a bit more of an artistic use.Am well happy specially at this time of the year with 2008 round the corner its a new start....hopefully all will go well.All the best guys ........Davey

That is the best news, Davey!! I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to recognize all you have to offer. Often, starting new jobs brings our wages down. I'm sure you'll impress 'em quick enough. And you've always struck me as an artistic type. Good for you Davey. Merry Christmas!

Thanks ....Lacey and of course thank you Becks....yeah the artistic bit intrigued me its not like metal work done by rote from drawings as in my last job ...in this one the client can design their own or leave it up to us to do our best ...so theres a bit of artistic licence.....also we will be working with different metals and alloys which is a bit new to me ...so more skills to be learnt....i sound like a nerd now ..but am well pleased.Take care........Davey

It couldnt have happened at a better time ,with the Holidays coming up fast. Now you can at least show up at family and other functions feeling a little better.- I know what its like to have to say "Well, not yet,but Im waiting for some really good prospects to call back"
Take it for what its worth- -no doubt your skills are probably worth more, but at least you swallowed your pride a bit & took it. Sometimes it cant be all about the cash. Timing ,in this case,was more important.
Best of luck- see what happens, just maybe they,ll see what a good guy they got & put together a nice package after the Holidays--

allright im so glad to see it--not just financially it will help you emotionally and spritually, going to work everyday makes me feel part of the world(a good one at that) sound like something youll really enjoy which makes it much easier to go to work id rather be making less and want to go to work than making more and have to drag myself in--that reminds me of an e-mail i got--
