Hello everyone
I just wanted to share a few feelings today. Besides being able to get clean etc. I am not having a good Christmas. I miss my grandmother soo much and I just feel alone this holiday. I went to a big party last night and everyone was there with their wives or signifigant other, then there was me. I just dont feel happy this Christmas. I think of other ones and I had a ball. This year just isnt fun. I hope everyone else is having a great holiday.

Red, Sorry to see you're feeling so down. Do you have any plans for Christmas? I have to go to my sisters house tonight with my 9 brothers and sisters who think they are better than me because of my addiction and are very judgemental. Not looking forward to it at all. Yea i have plans but they really dont excite me. I dont even know why I feel this way tonight. It suks. I dont know I just dont enjoy today at all. I hope this holiday is over very fast.

I'm alone too Reddog. Christmas is way overrated. My husband and boys are at the football game and then everyone will meet at me sister's for dinner later. The last place I want to be. I would rather be home in front of the fire with the dogs. I really wish my family would back off a bit.
I know how it feels to miss someone that you love so much and know that you'll not see them again in this lifetime. My grandmother was my world, she's been gone for 8 years now. It gets easier kiddo, just hold on to the good memories and know how blessed you were to know such a grand lady.

I am roasting a Turkey breast for supper and we are having all the trimmings tonight...a little family dinner. We are having supper at his Mama's tomorrow night, so I figured this way we can have turkey samitches for lunch....a little more work for me, but my family is worth it...I wish Tyler was home tonight, but I think he's working...he hasn't called, so I'm not sure.

Hey Jeff and everyone! Hope all of you have a merry Christmas! Jeff, I was brought up Jewish.....grandfather was a stowaway on a ship from Damascus. So , no , you are not the only one....although I am converted now....but I understand the Jews also, lol. My Christmas has really sucked....my son has been on a cocaine binge and this is like the fifth Christmas in a row he or my other son have ruined for me....I am alone....can't wait for it to be over. I used to really enjoy Christmas when they were little...but, and I really hate to feel like Scrooge, but it is just not fun anymore....drugs with them and abuse from my husband...it sucks.

My Christmas Eve just went bah humbug. My husband is spending the night with his Mama...she hasn't been feeling well...I sure wish my SINGLE brother in law would be with her...but that says alot about my hubby...I should be thankful that she is still here, so I'm going to slap myself now...lol...I'm glad that Dylan doesn't believe in Santa anymore...that would have made it worse.

The shots have helped a bit, I haven't pushed the envelope and done too much, but it seems to be better.
I hope to have a good Christmas...the neighbors are doing their yearly Xmas eve firework display and we've been peeking out the door to watch them...despite the nasty rain and chilly temps...I have a nice fire to watch and sitting here watching A Christmas Story, unbelievably it's one of the specials I've never seen...I'm a big sapp when it comes to all of the Christmas shows...still haven't grown up...I will definately have to check out Charlotte!

I do not know how you handle that cold wet air. My psoriatic Arthritis is Flairing daily as I am on just 5 mg of prednisone. But the only way to come off t he prednisone is weaning really slow until I get on this new drug? So far the government and charitable organizations have not come through. WTF can you do.
It sucks but if I was in the cold? - I would be disabled period.
-it was 80 degrees today yet my pain level was pretty high today. Do not know how you do it.
Well going to take my little one to hit golf balls tomorrow. She has begun to take up the game. She has the cutest little clubs. Its a hoot.
