Hey Kim and E'one:
This thread did turn fun. I LVE when that happens. When computer started up again - I got to read what I had missed.
We could give some really good advice to the people who are having their first child - like:
DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just kidding, I would do it all over again, just prefer to wait on the g'children - they won't be with me 24/7 haha
Love to all,
Jean
Hi,
There was something in everyones post that rang a bell with me. Yes I always had something to drink with me, I loved the sound of the pills being counted, I loved it when they said yes the brand is in stock, when I got a new rx filled for 120-180 I felt like I just scored!!!
The things I hated were, its too soon to fill the rx, we dont have it in stock, we have to order them, didnt you just get these here?, why are you using so many drs? It wont go through your ins. I only have enough for 2 days but I need much more so I dont go into wds, the counting, the worrying, the money, dr shopping, the moods, the staying home and not wanting to do things, the fear of wd, going into wd the whole Fu*#*ing rat race!!! I am so thankful for it being over and I could go on, my list of things I hated would deffinitly out weigh the things I loved! I am sure that I am not the only one....
All my Best.........Shel

I Think this is a great topic makes me remember how insane I was, Evey story I Read, was me.............for myself, threads like this remind me of what I did, the insane thinking & let's me know I don't want to go back to that behavior for any reason...........This thread is like a growth chart, let's me know where I was, & how far I have come.

Dear Twin:
It has to be obvious to eveyone how far you have come. You sound wonderful, so calm. I need that calmness.
Just keep on keepin' on, b/c whatever you are doing physically and emotionally, it is working for you.
Reading this thread did remind me of stuff that I had forgotten but I really don't want to forget anything. I may write a list in my journal all of the crazy stuff I did and the lies I told during the madness.
Love you.

Gina and Crystal, can I recommend soccer boppers? On a few occasions, after a brawl the kids ended up laughing.
They also do wonders to relieve my personal stress. I don't hit my kids but I can safely watch them whop each other mercilessly.
Do not, I repeat, do not, get the children boxing gloves. I did that too. The result was my daughter knocking my son over the couch. In a blind fury, he climbed back over it and attacked her. We had to lift him off her, arms and legs swinging.
God, we sound like such a physical family when I read what I write, lol.
Love, Kat

Kat,
I let my boys deathmatch in Doom. I'm told there's nothing like hitting your brother with a rocket launcher to work out frustration. (Actually, I've fragged Allan a couple of times myself and after a disagreement it's very satisfying, lol.)
Our family counselor was a little appalled by this and thought our family yoga classes were a better idea. But ocassionally, desperate times call for desperate measures...

OMG - this is all to real to me right now...this is round 2 for me with the percocet...I finally had to tell my husband to take them away from me. The Dr has me on vico to take the edge off, and we're weaning off of that!!! BTW - my husband has those too :)
Gina and Kat,
Boxing gloves are never a good idea...LOL. My brother and sister used to duke it out with those, until one day, my brother hooked my sister on the chin, and in a rage, she shoved him right through the glass storm door. Its a miracle he escaped with only a few cuts.
My brother and I handled things differently. We would catch dozens of crawdad's (crawfish?) and throw them at each other. Occasionally, one would latch on to a fleshy body part with their pinchers. Oh, and I shot him once with a BB gun. We sound like something out of Deliverance.

Soccer boppers! I love those things! I am on my third set..my son has ADHD and anger issues. Sometimes he needs to just ";let it out"..so we put them on and start bopping each other and usually wind up hysterical laughing as I fake "my death" on the floor..He thinks he is the big winner ( he is 7 yrs old) and his mood goes from angry to happy. Sometimes we just need to "let it out" , plain and simple!
Hey Laurie,
It's good to see you posting again. How're you feeling?
