A post has been started on the pain pills board where people have posted up pictures of themselves. I imagine we all wonder what each other look like.
I am not sure about this but here goes, this is me at a Green Day concert in Milton Keynes at the beginning of July this year with 2 of my bf's work mates. I had been off the gear for just 4 weeks and this was my first big day out.
Im kind of computer stupid. So,Ill need someone to walk me the the process of putting my picture up.
But imagine a 5'9'' 170 lb guy with long salt and pepper hair and beard(Actually ,I just cut the beard off and shorted the hair) Started looking a little wild for work,ya know??
Do I need a camera phone? How do I do this? It cant be too involved? Can IT?---------- THANKS jack

I am right there with you dude... i am clueless how to put up a pic... husband's bringing his dig camera home tomorrow and gonna help me... we'll see...i never really used a computer that much until i found this board. ok- Im off to work now. The marketing dept uses ditgital pictures all the time(literature,catalogs ..etc..) I,ll get a friend of mine to snap a pic of me - she,ll put it on my computer at work -Ill send it to my e-mail address at home- then ,when I get home. Ill send it to you,Becks.
It should work,and it will be as recent as one could get.

Kiwi Canadian was kind enough to post the following directions to put pictures on here. If I can follow them, anyone can!!! lol
FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO POST THEIR PICTURES ON THIS WEBSITE.
I will try to give the easiest instructions possible. It took me a total of 5 minutes from start to finish...
#1 - You need a website to upload the pictures from your computer to the Internet. Go to http://photobucket.com and register. Everything is free, free, free!
#2 - Once you register (takes 2 minutes). Then you hit the 'browse' button on the screen and find the pictures on your computer that you want to upload. One at a time you upload them. Each time you find the picture you want to upload to the Internet, just click SUBMIT
#3 - Lastly once all your pictures are uploaded to Photobucket. All thats left is to add then to the addictions website here. All you do here, is type your message as normal...HERE IS THE TRICK PART, AND ITS THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO DO..
**Go BACK to the photobucket website. Go to your album where it lists all your pictures. Under each picture you will see THREE things (URL, TAG, IMG) and beside each of them is a long address,link, bunch of words :) All you do is COPY ALL the WORDS in the [IMG] area. Just highlight all the words, copy them and then simply paste them to your message on this site. Thats it!!
SO everything is fairly straightforward, the only thing I found trick was the last step of seeing the pictures on this website...Like I said, just copy everyhing in the [IMG] area and simply paste it all here. When you are done, just click POST and the pictures will automatically load!
I had trouble when I tried to get people to post pics on the Families forum too. I guess some people prefer staying anonymous when it involves addiction. They might fear someone will recognize them.
Here's my son who has over 200 days heroin free. Many of you prayed for him and/or helped me to understand his addiction. Thanks again!
My son doesn't have a twin, but he's being told that he looks like a famous (new) movie star. I can't remember the name. That's always nice to hear!
Yes, that is one of my precious granddaughters. She decided to take a power nap instead of going to bed last night, so she had me up until about 4:30 this morning. My husband and I woke her at 10:30 this morning trying to get her back on schedule, and she curled up here on the sofa and fell back to sleep! I'll have to take her outside when she wakes up and tire her out! lol
